Adobe Analytics recently released a report stating smartphone transactions reached a record high of $33 billion between November 1 and December 19, 2018, noting that sales from mobile devices reached a record 58 percent and mobile transactions rose 57 percent from 2017. According to Flurry analytics, mobile app use is growing six percent year-over-year and Statista recently reported that mobile apps are projected to generate $188.9 billion in revenues via  app stores and in-app advertising. The mobile app market is growing because people value the ability to quickly and easily accomplish errands and tasks and keep their life organized as they multi-task on-the-go. App Annie reports that time spent in apps has increased 50% and that the time people spend in communication/social apps has increased by 35% over the last two years.
